About MorseTranslator.net
This tool exists because of a classroom moment.
I was teaching a lesson on old communication technology when my students got curious about Morse code. They wanted to try it. Every tool I found was either cluttered, full of ads, or slow. It was a distraction from the learning, not a help.
So I built my own.
What This Tool Does
MorseTranslator.net converts text to Morse code and Morse code back to text - instantly, in your browser. No account. No data stored. Nothing sent to a server.
It also lets you:
- Play audio at adjustable speed (WPM) and frequency
- Download the Morse code audio as a file
- Use the light signal feature to visualize the code
- Copy or download the output text
Everything runs locally in your browser. What you type stays with you.
Who Built This
I'm Fabio Mencent - an English teacher and digital marketer with a BA in English and a degree in Journalism. I build small web tools on the side, mostly to solve problems I run into while teaching.
MorseTranslator.net is one of those tools. It started as something for my students. It's now used by people around the world to encode and decode Morse code online.
If something feels off or broken, I want to know. You can reach me at [email protected].
The Resource Section
Alongside the translator, I publish practical guides about Morse code - how it works, how to learn it, how it's used today. Written to be useful, not just to rank.
